i was in the early weeks of my third trimester when gathering inspiration for my baby shower was all i could think about. my beliefs were pessimistic about finding a planner who could transform my pinterest pins and jotted down notes into what i had envisioned for that special day. low and behold i was referred to alexandra harvel, the "magnificent party planner", i was told. being incredibly detail-oriented and picky myself, i was looking forward to meeting the planner my friend was raving about. after our first consultation meeting i was impressed at how organized, experienced and professional alex composed her party planning business. throughout the entire process she respected my ideas, lent insight to new ones and ultimately created the baby shower of my dreams (maybe even a bit beyond what i had dreamed of). alex meticulously planned every little detail, down to the color of shoelaces on the each of the baby shoe cupcakes. since my baby shower, alex has planned spectacular dinner parties for my husband and i, and all of our friends (which has come in handy since my newly born son has taken up all of our free time). i cannot only recommend agh events to anyone planning an event, i would definitely insist on it.

my sister and i had the best time planning our third sister's birthday party. we needed someone who would keep within our low budget but create an outcome of champagne taste. both my sister and i absolutely loved working with alex. she is so good at what she does because she has a real passion for it. she is kind, patient and has so many creative ideas. we came in with an overall color scheme and style that we had envisioned and alex took it to the next level to create an absolute beautiful party. my sister had the best birthday and we cannot thank alex enough for all of her hard work!

I moved here from england just a few months ago and i wanted to have a birthday party for my newly made friends in my Lamborghini club. alex helped me do all the work that i honestly had little creative insight to do myself. i cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. the party turned out incredibly extravagant - even my friends from the club were impressed. im grateful to have had you there on the day and evening of the event to coordinate everything so the party ran smoothly. i thank you for your time, creative input and dedication for making this event special for me and all of my guests.
